Re: Fwd: würde eigentlich erfolgreiche Pop Musik produzieren, sind aber meistens recht bald vom Arbeitsprozess daran gelangweilt, wahrscheinlich aus Mangel an Kompetenz. Deshalb beschäftigen sie sich dann umso lieber damit, den Bild- und Klangwelten der Populärmusik verschiedene Aspekte einer elektronisch-experimentellen Klangpraxis gegenüberzustellen.
2009 begann ein Prozesses, der sich von Dekontextualisierungen paradigmatischer Repräsentationsformen in elektroakustisch-experimentellen und populärmusikalischen Genres über Modifikationen der Kausalitäten im Feld von Raum, Zeit und Klang im Kontext audiovisueller Medien bis zur Produktion von Objekten und Assemblagen spannt.
Beispielsweise suggerieren Tonlose Videos Soundscapes und werden dabei von einfachen kinetischen Assemblagen vertont. Oder es werden aus standardisierter Produktionshardware enigmatische Erscheinungen modelliert und die Eigenresonanzen des Raumes mittels elektroakustischen minimal-Interventionen verstärkt.

Therefore, they prefer to confront the image and sound world of popular music to various aspects of an electronic-experimental sound practice.
Their ongoing work is a process they started with “Ast fällt auf Tonspur” in 2009. Their work spans from de-contextualizations of paradigmatic forms of representations in electro-acoustic experimental and popular music genres, to modifications of the causalities in the field of space, time and sound in the context of audiovisual media, to the production of objects and assemblages.
Videos without sound, for example, suggest soundscapes and are thereby set to music by simple kinetic assemblages. Enigmatic phenomena are modeled from standard production hardware and the natural resonances of the space is reinforced with electroacoustic minimal interventions.
